Antica e nobile famiglia d'Abruzzo, della quale si trova memoria, al tempo di re Carlo I d'Angiò, con un Roberto Fragiacomo, figlio di Pietro, feudatario di parte di Orza. Godette nobiltà in Aquila, Chieti e Sulmona; e in quest'ultima città, vi era un Lorenzo, barone di Castiglione della Pescara. Questi sposò verso la metà del secolo XVIII l'unica figlia del marchese Nicola Fragiacomo, consigliere della R. Camera di S.
