Nobility crown Gómez De AlbaEsta antigua familia infanzona, poseyó desde el siglo XVI un magnífico casal, de piedra armera con torrecillas, en la villa de Fonz, antiguamente llamada Fons, y que hoy pertenece al partido judicial de Tamarite de Litera (Huesca). Dicho casal se conserva aún en buen estado. Sobre la puerta principal se lee esta lema: "María de mi Alba". Sus propietarios se consideraron descendientes de Duque del Alba que en el año de 1610 era Señor y poseedor del edificio. El 20 de Julio de 1796, los G. de Alba ganaron ejecutoria de hidalguía en la Real Audiencia de Zaragoza y en ella consta la siguiente filiación: Juan Andrés G. de Alba, caballero infanzón de sangre y naturaleza, y así considerado por el señor temporal de la villa que lo era el obispo de Lérida y por los demás infanzones, estuvo casado con doña Elena Alfós, y fué padres, entre otros hijos, de Andrés G. de Alba y Alfós, que celebró dos matrimonios: el primero, con doña Ventura Guilleuna, y en segundo, con doña María Ric, de noble familia de Fonz. Del primer enlace nació Andrés G. de Alba y Guilleuma, que fué a convolar a Graus, donde contrajo matrimonio con doña María Berbegal, de la que tuvo a Gregorio G. de Alba y Berbegal, esposo de doña Teresa Gómez. Pasó a vivir al pueblo de Buñales, del Ayuntamiento de Tabernas y partido judicial de Huesca, del que era dueño temporal y cuyo dominio le fué reconocido, después de un largo pleito, por la Real Audiencia de Zaragoza. ...
