Diego G. y Crespo y su mujer doña María Santos de Medijur, vecinos de Lodosa; Francisco Javier G., presbítero; Fausto G. y Crespo, natural de Mirafuentes; Francisco Javier G. y Crespo, natural y vecino de Mues, por sí, y María Antonia y María Ventura, sus hijas; Santiago G. y Crespo, natural del mismo lugar; Juan José G. y Luengo, vecino de Zúñiga, por sí, y Rafael y Bernardo, sus hijos; Alejandro G., de igual naturaleza, por sí, y Simón Bernardo, Manuel María y Fausta, sus hijos, comparecieron en 1780 ante la Real Audiencia de Pamplona, manifestando que, como descendientes del solar noble de G., de la villa de Lodosa, Valle del Roncal, se les reconociese su nobleza, lo que se mandó así. Otra casa muy ilustre hubo en el Valle del Baztán, emparentada con los antiguos Reyes de Francia, Navarra y Aragón, por la línea de los Condes de Foix, cuyo tronco fué Micer Juan G., que probó su procedencia del valeroso caballero G., Vizconde de Bearne, que se halló con el Rey don Alonso de Aragón en la toma de Zaragoza, de cuya ciudad se le dió una parte en premio de sus servicios. Los descendientes de este caballero se apellidaron G. de Iriarte. Otra casa denominada G. de Isaba radicó en la villa de Falces, del partido judicial de Tafalla. De ella procedió Domingo G. de Isaba, natural de Falces, que sirvió en Flandes durante 27 años y se distinguió en la expugnación de Amberes. ...
