Giulio di Lodovico e di Francesca Corsi Salviati, fu autorizzato con decreto reale 26 febbraio 1911 ad aggiungere al proprio cognome quello materno; e con altro R.D. di motuproprio in data 27 marzo 1913 venne rinnovato a favore del medesimo il titolo di marchese di Montepescali, estinto nella famiglia Corsi Salviati nel 1907 con la morte di Bardo di Francesco Antonio, ultimo rappresentante maschio di quella nobile casa. Da Fiesole, o più probabilmente da Dicomano, i Corsi vennero a stabilirsi in Firenze assai anticamente, come dimostrato da un'iscrizione del 1259 al Canto di Monterolo, ove forse erano le loro case. Di parte ghibellina e dal ruolo dell'Arabia si sa che Corso di Bonaiuto combatté a Montaperti sotto le insegne imperiali, furono esclusi dalle magistrature, alle quali vennero ammessi soltanto tardi, con Bardo di Corso, priore nel 1354.
