Antoine Hugon chirurgien et Claude Hugon notaire royal de Paulhaguet, vivaient de 1571 à 1629. Clauda Hugon épousa Barthélemy des Filhes, fils de noble Philippe et de Marie de Fretat (1598). Elle a formé deux branches: I.- Jean Hugon, fils de Claude notaire royal et châtelain de Couteuges (1645); Catherine Hugon mariée le 26 septembre 1662 à François de Suat-Chavagnac écuyer, seigneur de Fraissinet, fils d'Antoine et d'Antoinette de Ponceau; Guillaume Hugon, fils de Jean, notaire royal à Paulhaguet (1682), d'où plusieurs rameaux. II.- Antoine Hugon précité, laissa Pierre Hugon seigneur de Promeyrat, de Censac, du Bournoncel (1629-1645), allié à Isabeau de Chardon, veuve en 1649, d'où un fils morte en bas âge et une fille Isabeau Hugon dame de Censac, Promeyrat, du Bournoncel, héritière de sa maison, qui épousa le 26 juillet 1673 Pierre le Poupet d'Anneville écuyer, seigneur d'Anneville et de Lespesse, originaire de Villy (Normandie). Branche existante à St-Flour en 1684. La distinction familiale représentée ici sous forme de blason, survit à travers les siècles grâce à des précieux témoignages qui nous ont permis de rapporter les exploits et les gestes de cette famille. ...
