Nobility crown IndaburuDe Navarra, con casa solar en el lugar de Azpilcueta, del valle del Baztán y partido de Pamplona. Procedieron de dicha casa: José Antonio de I. e Iturburrua, natural de Maya, Capitán del Regimiento de Dragones de Numancia y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, desde el 5 de Noviembre de 1743, y Francisco de Paula de I. y Dolorea, natural de Madrid y Caballero de la Orden de Carlos III, ingresado el 29 de Mayo de 1807. Muchos linajes de esta denominación probaron su nobleza en las Ordenes de Santiago, Calatrava, Alcántara, Montesa, (corporaciones nacidas para luchar contra los moros, cooperando a la Reconquista, y asegurar el orden, protegiendo a los peregrinos y desvalidos), Carlos III y San Juan de Jerusalén (es una orden religiosa militar fundada en el siglo XI); numerosas veces en las Reales Chancillería de Valladolid y Granada, en la Real Compañía de Guardias Marinas y en la Real Audiencia de Oviedo. Lorenzo Indaburu, Prócer de la Independencia, nació en Monpox, departamento de Bolívar en 1806, casado con Faustina Acosta el 9 de enero de 1833, en Monpox. Presto servicio militar a la Republica desde 1820 hasta diciembre de 1831. En 1803, llego a Cartagena el Teniente coronel Juan Josef de Indaburu, procedente de Portobelo, siendo designado como comandante de la guarnición de Corozal. ...
