Nobility crown JoriFamille illustré par Adhémar Jori ou Jory, seigneur de Domeyrat près Carlat, était chatelain de la baronnie d'Allègre en 1375. Certains héraldistes ont attribue par erreur, le sceau de ce personnage (une croix brisée d'un croissant au canton senestre) à un membre de la première maison d'Alègre. Charles Jory appartenait à une ancienne chevaleire du diocèse de St-Flour, relatée de 1093 à 1446 en Gévaudan et Rouergue. Il fut receveur en Rouergue de la rançon du roi Jean V (1360). Aymard Jory, chanoine du chapitre de Clermont, était bailli royal des montagnes d'Auvergne en 1377. ...
