Nobility crown LacapelleTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Thomas, croisé en 1248 (Chartes latines de 1191 à 1249 relatives aux croisés, provenant du cabinet Courtois); Olivier, grand-maréchal de Bretagne en 1318; Olivier, fils du précédent, épouse Marie de Derval dont: Olivier, mariée en 1412 à Aliette de Molac, qui a continué la branche aînée; Guillaume, auteur des seigneurs de la Roche Giffart. Cette maison a, en outre, produit un chambellan du duc François II et s'est fondue au XVI siècle dans celle de Rosmadec, en faveur de laquelle la Chapelle fut érigée en comté, en 1576. A une autre branche de cette maison se rattachaient: Antoine, anobli en 1597 pour la louables vertus et mérites qui sont en sa personne; deux lieutenants généraux des armées en 1745 et 1815; un évêque de Vannes en 1742, archevêque d'Arles en 1746 mort en 1775; un évêque de Lectoure en 1760 mort en 1772. La branche de Bœuvres fondue dans Guémadeuc, puis Huart et Camus: Sébastien, syndic des États en 1643; Pierre-Jean, abbé de Boquen en 1677; Guy-Charles, substitut du procureur-général, anobli sur le demande des États en 1769, père du président de l'assemblèe nationale, décapité en 1794. La branche de la Roche-Giffart fondue en 1680 dans du Bouays de Mèneuf. ...
