Don Federico Walter L., Vicecónsul de los Estados Unidos de América en la isla de La Palma, nació en Londres el 23 de julio de 1820 y murió en Santa Cruz de la Palma el 16 de mayo de 1887. Casó el 2 de mayo de 1847, con Doña María Nicolasa Josefa del Sacramento de Valcárcel y Lugo, nacida el 15 de marzo de 1822 y tuvieron cuatro hijos: Don Guillermo L. Valcárcel, nacido en Santa Cruz de la Palma el 16 de noviembre de 1849. Casó con Doña Adelaida de Sotomayor y Lugo, sin descendencia. Don José L. y Valcárcel, nacido el 13 de febrero de 1851, que contrajo nupcias con Doña Rita de Lugo y García. Tuvieron dos hijos: Don José L. y Lugo, que contrajo dos matrimonios en la villa de El Paso, isla de La Palma; el primero con Doña María del Pilar Pérez Capote y el segundo, con su hermana Antonia Pérez Capote. Este último el 8 de diciembre de 1922, y Don Federico L. y Lugo, nacido en Santa Cruz de la Palma, que estuvo casado con Doña María del Carmen Kábana y Vargas, natural de Los Llanos de Aridane, con quien celebró nupcias el 2 de agosto de 1922. María de la Candelaria L. y Valcárcel, nacida en Santa Cruz de Tenerife el 6 de mayo de 1856 y casada en La Palma el 2 de febrero de 1877, con Don José Carrillo y Álvarez. Sin descendencia. Don Federico L. y Valcárcel, nacido en Santa Cruz de Tenerife y casado en La Palma el 8 de febrero de 1888, con su prima Doña María de las Nieves de Valcárcel y Pinto. ...
