Procede de la villa de Lledó (cuyo nombre tomó), del partido judicial de Figueres (Gerona). Tuvo casa en Barcelona. Otra hubo en Baleares, en la villa de Campos. Cuando en 1285, el rey don Alonso III de Aragón conquistó la isla de Mallorca, Arnaldo y Pedro Lledó le prestraron sacramento y homenaje como diputados, el primero por la villa de Campos, y el segundo por la de Muro. Pedro Lladó, canónigo de Mallorca en 1411, fue uno de los mejores teólogos de su tiempo, y Luis Lladó era en 1435 procurador real. Jurado por la clase noble en 1469, y baile general en 1475. Antonio Lladó fue conseller por el estamento de caballeros, en 1466; Ponce Lladó, jurado de la ciudad y reino de Mallorca, en los años 1427, 1431 y 1440; Luis Lladó, también jurado en 1409, 1435 y 1439, y Pedro Lladó, igualmente, jurado de la misma ciudad, en 1505. Rafael Lladó, capitán mallorquín, se distinguió en 1647 en las guerras de Italia. Murió en la acción de la batería del Carmen, de Nápoles. Miguel Lladó y Oliver, fue coronel de infantería en 1837. ...
