Era divisa in due linee, di cui la prima ebbe termine con Laura, unigenita di Fulvio Antonio (deceduto 7 marzo 1764), il quale era stato creato conte dal duca di Parma il 20 ottobre 1751. La seconda linea, la quale si staccò dalla branca principale in persona di Cristoforo, di Domenico (1499), si suddivise in due rami. Giovanni (viv. 1626), di Giorgio e di Anna Guidobono, sposò Paola del senatore genovese Stefano, onde l'eredità del nome. Fu loro figlio Giovanni Francesco, da cui nacque Giuseppe (deceduto 25 gennaio 1764), che da sua moglie Maria Recagni, ebbe per figli Giovanni Francesco, Cesare e Pier Luigi, capo quest'ultimo della linea presente. Giovanni Francesco fu infeudato di Castelponzano il 1° agosto 1766, e investito col titolo comitale il 9 aprile. Si estinse questa linea col nipote Federico di Giuseppe Antonio. ...
