Filiation depuis Joseph échevin d'Angers. Son arrière petit-fils Marc-Denis, écuyer, commissaire ordonnateur des guerres, gouverneur de Turin, épousa en 1797, Irène de Chateauneuf-Randon d'Apchier, (soeur d'Auguste marquis d'Apchier, chef du nom et armes de cette illustre maison, et fille de Jean-Joseph, marquis d'Apchier et d'Henriette de Rochefort d'Ally) d'où: Irène, mariée au baron de Veyrac et un fils conseiller de préfecture de la Haute-Loire. Cette maison est aujourd'hui représentée: I° par le comte Frédéric-Auguste, secrétaire d'ambassade; 2° par le vicomte Gabriel, capitaine commandant au quatrième dragons, marié à Mlle Rozat de Mandres d'où une fille; 3° par le vicomte Jehan, vice-consul. Armes de cette famille: De sable au chevron d'or, accompagné en chef de deux pattes d'hermine (alias deux mouchetures) d'argent et en pointe d'une étoile d'or. Cimier: un lion issant, brandissant un gonfanon mi-parti d'azur et d'argent. Supports: deux lions. On trouve parfois ces armoiries écartelées de celles d'Apchier et de divers autres quartiers. ...
