Antichissima famiglia di Albenga, nei cui personaggi Pietro, Cazola, Vivaldo, Bartolomeo e Benabò l'imperatore Enrico VII rinnovava addì 6 giugno 1311 l'investitura della castellania di Rivernale o Rivernaro, già possedura da' loro avi.
