Guglielmo di Mels dettava il suo testamento ingiungendo ai figli Asquino, Mattiusso e Vicardo di edificare presso il castello di Colloredo una cappella per perpetuare la memoria dei tempi in cui l'imper. Corrado II si era condotto a Roma (1026) accompagnato dai frtelli Enrico e Labrodo di Waldsee, oriundi della Svevia, e progenitori di esso testatore.
