Tuvo casa solar de Cabo de Armería en el partido de Artiga, jurisdicción de la ciudad de San Sebastián, de la que fué una de las originas y antiguas pobladores, y también fundadora de la iglesia de San Sebastián el Antiguo, extramuros de la misma ciudad. Entroncaron con los Oquendo, Señores de la casa solar y torre de Oquendo; con los Aramburu, Señores de la casa solar de Aramburu; con los Iribar, Señores de la casa solar de Iribar, sita en el partido de Ibaeta, de la jurisdicción de San Sebastián; con los Aguirre, Señores de la casa solar de Aguirre en Artiga; con los Añorga, Señores de la casa de Añorga, en el mismo partido de Artiga; con los Arnobidao, Señores de la casa llamada de Castilium, y con los Ollo, de Rentería. La segunda rama radicó en Hernani (Guipúzcoa), pasando después a Vizcaya. Fué progenitor de ella Sebastián de M. y Aguirre, que casó con Hernani con doña Magdalena de Bereterrechea, naciendo de esta unión Ignacio de M. y Bereterrechea, bautizado en la iglesia parroquial de Hernani el 31 de Julio de 1640 y casado en la misma villa con doña María Miguel de Arregui, natural de Urnieta, a la que hizo madre de Martín de M. y Arregui, bautizado en Hernani el 27 de Enero de 1688, que pasó a vivir al Señorío de Vizcaya, donde celebró su enlace con doña Isabel de Basarte. ...
