Nobility crown MirbeauCette famille était originaire de Boutières, elle prenait son nom du hameau de Mirabel, paroisse de Saint-Christol en Vivarais. Vinson Mirabel fit, le 28 avril 1402, une reconnaissance en faveur du comte de la Roche, prédécesseur du duc de Ventadour. Le 2 décembre 1584, Jean Mirabel, époux d'Isabeau du Bay, demeurant au lieu de Faveyrolles, paroisse de Saint-Christol, mandement de Don, fait un échange avec Jean Serres, maréchal; le 22 décembre 1629, il reçoit investiture de Simon-Pierre Cellier, seigneur de Buriane; il avait deux soeurs, Alix et Jeanne, cette dernière mariée à Pierre-Simon Blachier; Jean était notaire et résidait à Mirabel, et fut père de: Paul Mirabel, qui en 1676, habitait Gourdol, paroisse de Saint-Appollinaire-de-Rias, et avait épousé Suzanne Richard, dont il eut: Etienne, capitaine au régiment de Briouze, marié à Marie Barruel du lieu du Cheylar. Le 15 février 1746, Me Louis-Etienne, fils de sieur Etienne et de dame Marie Barruel, du lieu de Mirabel, habitant au Cheylar, épousa Elisabeth Chambaud, fille de feu sieur Joseph Guillot et de Geneviève de Mirabel, dudit Cheylar: parmi les témoins figure Messire René Barruel, seigneur de Bavas. De ce mariage vinrent sept enfants. Louis-Etienne, habitant Beauséjour, paroisse de Glun, testa le 1er 1771, devant Pascal, notaire à Tain. Elisabeth Chambaud, se veuve, décéda le 30 novembre 1788, âgée de 65 ans. Etienne-Toussaint, fils d'Etienne et d'Elisabeth Chambaud épousa Louise-Victoire de Neyrieu, fille de Jean-Baptiste et de Catherine de Laurencin, dmeurant à Domarin , canton de Maubec (Isère). Il fut, en l'an V, président de l'administration centrale du canton du Cheylar. Le 12 juillet 1776, Jean-Baptiste d'Avenas, mari d'Elisabeth-Julie de Mirabel, donna quittance à Etienne-Toussaint, écuyer, gendarme de la garde du Roi, d'une somme de 1000 livres. Il fut père de quatre enfants et entre autres de: Alfred de Mirabel-Neyrieu, qui épousa Alphonsine Croquet de Belligny. ...
