Nobility crown MonesterioEl primitivo solar de este apellido estuvo en Líbano de Arrieta, desde donde pasó a Ibarranguélua, todo en el partido judicial de Guernica (Vizcaya). De la casa de Líbano de Arrieta fué Pedro de M., esposo de doña Magdalena de Gauriza, y ambos padres de José de M. y Gauriza, que casó con doña María Cruz de Achica, a la que hizo madre de Pedro de M. y Achica, bautizado en Rigoitia, del mismo partido de Guernica, el 17 de Mayo de 1733, que celebró su enlace con doña Josefa Arribalzaga, naciendo de esta unión Pedro Antonio de M. y Arribalzaga, bautizado en Guernica el 13 de Enero de 1758, Notario Receptor del Tribunal Eclesiástico del Obispado de Osma, y Regidor de Burgo de Osma, que obtuvo declaración de vizcainía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid el 27 de Febrero de 1789. De la casa de Ibarranguélua procedió Antonio de M. y Garátegui, bautizado en San Andrés de Ibarranguélua el 2 de Julio de 1712, que en doña Nicolasa Rodríguez, natural y vecino de Villanueva de Lorenzana, del partido de Mondoñedo (Lugo) y bautizado el 7 de Mayo de 1745, que el 15 de Octubre 1798 obtuvo declaración de vizcainía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid. ...
