Claude, allié à Jeanne d'Iserand, dite de Montivers, dame du dit lieu, testa en 1533, laissant: Pierre seigneur de Montivers, marié le 6 janvier 1566 à Louise de Clavières, d'où: Melchior allié à Françoise de Péllissac, père de Claude seigneur de Montivers, marié le 14 octobre 1608 à Souveraine de Boulieu. Leur postérité fut maintenue en Languedoc le 4 septembre 1669. Divers offiers dont: Florimond seigneur de Villeneuve, puis de Montivers, capitaine de grenadiers au régiment de Flammarion, chevalier de St-Louis (1715), allié le 21 janvier 1700 à Madeleine des Prés et auteur de Jean-Joseph qui ne laissa qu'une fille morte en bas-âge, de Gabrielle de Vire de Liron. Cette dernière hérita des biens de son mari, épousa en secondes noces, le 10 février 1756, Christophe de Chalendar seigneur de St-Laurent-Les-Bains dont elle n'eut pas d'enfants, et légua le château de Montivers à son frère Antoine. ...
