De dicha casa procedió Juan de M., que en su mujer doña María de Armona, tuvo a Juan Bautista de M. y Armona, padre en doña María de Cirarruista, su mujer, de Juan Antonio de M. Ciarruista, bautizado en Bilbao el 18 de Noviembre de 1692, que el 22 de Diciembre de 1728, probó su hidalguía. Casó con doña María Antonia González Lorenzo, y tuvo a Pedro Herónimo de M. y González, bautizado en Medina de Ríoseco (Valladolid), el 27 de Octubre de 1726, que el 25 de Junio de 1774 obtuvo declaración de vizcainía en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid. Otra casa hubo en Durango. Son sus armas: Un escudo con doce estrellas. Ignoramos los esmaltes. El estudio del escudo heráldico familiar nos "habla" de quienes formaron el origen de la familia M., pues esa era su función, la de manifestar a los demás sus elementos diferenciales, pues la inclusión del elemento estrella es la figura más extendida en la heráldica, su significado es impreciso, en cuanto se refiere a la Península, pero parece ser que demostrar su fidelidad a la Iglesia de Roma, por analogía al significado en Lombardía y Toscana que era la pertenencia al partido Güelfo (del Papa de Roma). ...
