Della casa Negrelli, anticamente detta di Pesina, dai castelli e beni che aveva in quel luogo, si trovano memorie fino dal 1205, nelle quali si nomina un Giovanni da Pesina giudice, e da una investitura del veronese Vescovo Bartolomeo della Scala si vede che avevano gius di decima, detto in quella carta assai antica, sopra Albaredo, Garda ed altri luoghi. Nel 1277 uno dei nobili congiurati contro lo Scaligero Mastino fu Farmaguello Negrelli. L'anno 1403, ed anche in tempi successivi, alcuni dei Negrelli ebbero il comando sul Benaco, e furono governatori di Riva. Zenone nel 1403 fu uno degli oratori che presentarono le chiavi di Verona ai comandanti veneti. Nel 1408 questa famiglia fu aggregata al patrio Consiglio nobile, ed ebbe cariche onorevoli in Verona ed altrove.
