On trouve: Pierre Sudre alias Paut, écuyer, seigneur de Montmorand, vivant en 1346; Jean Paut, damoiseau, seigneur de Montmorand, allié le 30 avril 1395 à Etoille de Sartiges; Pierre Paut, damoiseau, seigneur de Prat-Loube (1434). Jean Paut, seigneur de Montmorand et Jacques seigneur de Lodines, figurent à l'armorial manuscrit de 1450. N. Paut de Lodines, épousa le 16 décembre 1445 Jean du Crozet écuyer, seigneur de Cumignat. Un cardinal évêque de Marseille, légat dans le royaume de Naples (1366-1373): Guillaume Sudre dit Pauc. Eteinte en 1482, par alliance, dans les du Prat d'Hauterive. La distinction familiale représentée ici sous forme de blason, survit à travers les siècles grâce à des précieux témoignages qui nous ont permis de rapporter les exploits et les gestes de cette noble famille.
