Sancho II e seu embaixadro a França, esteve no concílio de Leão convocado pelo Papa Inocêncio IV, merceu grande valimento de D. Afonso II; que lhe deu e honras de Pardelhas, junto de Guimarães, e outras terras teve o senhorio da Calçada, em Santo Estêvão de Oldrões, no concelho de Penafiel de Sousa que era solar da família. Foi casado com D. Maria Rodrigues filha de rui Gonçalves Pereira e de D. Urraca Viegas e neta paterna de D. Gonçalo Rodrigues da Palmeira, de cujo matrimónio provêm os do apelido de Peixoto. ...
