Nobility crown PimentaParece que esta família descende de D. Aires P., filho de D. Afonso Pais Teles, priores do Crato. O ramo de Braga provém de Marçal Vaz P., irmão de Afonso P. alcaide-mor do Castelo da mesma cidade e de Estêvão P., comendatário de Travanca. A descendência de uns oe outros de ligou a Avelares, dando os Pimentas do Avelar. De Beja: família descendente, por legítima varonia, de Gaspar Fialho, homem nobre e dos principais de Viana do Alentejo, de quem foi filho o dr. Francisco Fernandes Fialho, n. por 1558, licenciado em Direito, Juiz de Fora em Évora, onde depois foi Juiz dos Órfãos e procurador dos presos da Inquisição, que casou, em Beja, com D. Antónia Guedes. Destes foi filho Francisco Fialho Guedes, escrivão da Câmara de Beja (carta de 1626), instituidor de um morgado, e que, do seu casamento com Brites Aires P., teve a Francisco Guedes P., familiar do S.to Ofício (carta de 2.6.1645), casado com Inês Pinto Porto, e que sucedeu no morgadio a seu pai tendo, com sua mulher, instituído um outro que se lhe ligou, constituindo o conjunto o chamado "morgado dos P.". Deste casal foi neto Francisco Pinto P., sucessor no morgado, que casou com D. Teresa de Oliveira Pita, filha do licenciado Marcos do Monte Godinho e mulher Maria de Oliveira, sendo filho sucessor António-Alexandre Pinto P., vereador em Beja, que do seu casamento com D. Feliciana-Fortunata Dias de Campos teve a José-Francisco Guedes P. Dias de Campo, sucessor, capitão de milícias de Beja. ...
