Tra i firmatari della Pace di Eleonora LPDE del 1388, troviamo: Pintus Francisco, ville Ecclesiarum( Villa di Chiesa - Iglesias, vedi app. I^28), Pintus Guantino, ville Ecclesiarum, Pintus Juliano, ville Ecclesiarum, Pintus Petro, ville Ecclesiarum, Pintus Xpoforo, ville Montis Leonis (Monteleone Roccadoria - Caputabas). Nel Codice Diplomatico di Villa di Chiesa, oltre a quelli già nominati come firmatari della Pace di Eleonora, del 1388, relativamente all’anno 1450 è nominato Pintos Giuliano. Nel "Bollettino ufficiale della consulta araldica" vol. IV n. 16 del Novembre 1896 alla voce "Bollettino delle famiglie nobili e titolate della Sardegna" i Pintus o Pintus Cany sono menzionati quali nobili (mf) di Iglesias.
