Guasco alla genealogia della Famiglia dei Conti F. di Alessandria. Sono note le antichissime origini della Casata. Un ramo cospicuo di questa stirpe originaria di Castelleone in provincia di Cremona, si stanziò a Milano ed a Crema e fu ascritta alla nobiltà di queste città fin dal 1519.
