Guillaume, chevalier, seigneur de Chaude-Oreille, rend hommage à l'évêque du Puy en 1296-1308 et 1318, des fiefs qu'il possédait dans les mandements de Chapteuil et de Mercoeur-Malrevers. Ce dernier fut témoin, le 9 mai 1363, du testament de Marguerite Adhémar de Monteil, veuve de Lioutaud, baron de Solignac. Noble Jean Pourchas, seigneur de Neyzac, de Chaude-Oreille, lui succéda en 1383. Il était marié en 1372 à Isabelle de la Tour. On trouve encore: noble Guillaume Porchas vivant de 1383 à 1459, possesseur d'une rente féodale à Rochelimagne près Polignac; noble Pierre Porchas, seigneur de Chaude-Oreille, etc. (1448-1459); nobles Louis et Hugues dit Gonet Porchas, seigneurs de Chaude-Oreille, etc. près Chapteuil.
