Nobility crown PuechDeydier, donne les notes généalogiques qui suivent sur cette famille, qu'il dit originaire d'Arles. I. Georges Puech, natif d'Arles, praticien à Aubenas en 1629, épousa Marguerite de Toussaint, qui vers 1635 étant veuve fit une donation à son fils Joseph Puech. II. Joseph-Pierre, avocat, le 25 août 1638, acheta le notariat de Barthelemy Mellet et, le 12 octobre 1679, le revendit à Jean-Louis Rousset, originaire de Mayres. Il fut juge et lieutenant de bailly de la baronnie d'Aubenas ; il épousa Marie de Marchat, fille de François et à Fleurie de La Chava qui fit un codocille, le 26 juin 1688, devant Lissignol, notaire. Il eut de ce mariage: 1° Marie-Blanche, mariée à Jean de Fages du Bessas, fils à Jean; 2° Françoise-Henriette, née en 1670, morte en 1753; 3° Jules-César, mort en 1691; 4° Marie, religieuse à Sainte-Claire d'Aubenas; 5° Suzanne, née en 1695; 6° Joseph-Hyacinthe-Paul, qui suit; 7° Jules, sieur du Bessas, tonsuré en 1690, infirmier à Saint-Ruf de Valence, le 25 octobre 1692, par résignation de son grand oncle, Claude du Mazel de la Chaux, chanoine de Saint-Ruf. III. Joseph-Hyacinthe-Paul, né en 1672, mort en 1742, épousa Elisabeth de Simiane, d'où vinrent: 1° Hyacinthe-Honoré-Antoine, né en 1700, mort sans postérité; 2° Marie-Anne, née en 1704, décédée en 1794, marié le 10 novembre 1753 à Jacques-François de La Rodde, baron de Saint-Haon. Jeanne Puech, était en 1680, femme de Simon de Cubières. Les armes dessinées ont été relevées sur le cachet d'une lettre de Madame du Bessas, née Puech, conservée dans la correspondance du Syndic de Vivarais aux Archives départementales, et sur celui qui ferme son testament, conservé aux Archives de l'hôpital d'Aubenas. ...
