Nobility crown RangelFamília antiga, que procede de Gonçalo Gonçalves morador junto da cidade de Coimbra na sua quinta de Ronge que depois se chamou R. situada na ribeira de Coselhas a qual tinha muitos privilégios, tais como o de couto de homiziados. Pouco mais de um quarto de légua para norte havia uma magnífica capela, que conforme o letreiro, se dizia ter sido feita por João Álvares R. fidalgo da Casa de D. Afonso V, no ano de 1463 com licença do bispo de Coimbra, D. Jorge de Almeida a qual se veio a arruinar e fori reconstruíada em 1658 por Brás R. Pereira de Sá, fidalgo da Casa Real. A sua invocação era de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Diz-se que Gonçalo Gonçalves combateu contra os Mouros e foi encarregado da reedifdicação de Soure, em 1125 e que D. Alfonso Henriques o armou cavaleiro na igreja de S. João de Almendia em Coimbra. Foi seu filho e sucessor da Casa Diogo Dias de Coimbra, contemporâneo de D. Sancho I, o qual era conhecido pelo Moedeiro, por ser governador e tesoureiro da Casa da Moeda, que estava então na referida cidade. Casou com D. Exameia Pires da Maia, filha de D. Pedro Pais da Maia, alferes-mor de D. Afonso Henriques, e dela teve Vicente Dias de Coimbra, muito rico e honrado que exercitou os mesmos ofícios na Casa da Moeda e sucedeu na fazenda paterna, recebendo-se com D. Boa Gonçalves Mexia, filha de Diogo Gonçalves Mexia, e de sua mulher D. Elvira de Cambra. ...
