Don Ramón Sazo, en el folio ciento setenta y seis del tomo treinta y seis de sus minutas, dice que el linaje de Rajas, Raxas o R. es originario de las montañas de Burgos, y que tuvieron casa y torre solariegas e infanzonada en el lugar de Viveda, jurisdicción de Torrelavega.
