Nobility crown RecaldeNoble y antiguo linaje de Guipúzcoa, con casa solar en Azcoitia. Otra tuvo en Isasondo y otra en Vergara, llamada Torre de Recalde. Una rama que pasó a Bilbao fundó allí nueva casa. Por los años de 1470 era Señor de la casa de Recalde en Azcoitia. Lope Sánchez de R., que casó con doña María Vizcargui, Señora de la casa solar de Vizcargui, en la jurisdicción de la misma villa, y fueron padres de Juan López de R. y Vizcargui, Señor de la casa de R., en Azcoitia, Caballero de Santiago, Contador Mayor del Emperador Carlos V y Proveedor general de los ejércitos de España. Contrajo matrimonio con doña Laurencia de Idiáquez, naciendo de esta unión: Lope Ibáñez de R. e Idiáquez, sucesor de las casas solares de R. y Vizcargui, con capilla y enterramiento propios en la iglesia parroquial de Azcoitia. Casó en Sevilla con doña Leonor de Guzmán y Saavedra y procrearon a doña María de R. Guzmán, a cuya muerte, sin sucesión, no obstante haber casado tres veces, se extinguió esta línea. María de R. e idiáquez, que casó con Juan de Balda, Señor del Palacio de Balda, en Azcoitia, y fueron padres de doña Laurencia y doña María. La primera casó con Lorenzo Suárez de Figueroa y Cárdenas, Gentilhombre de boca de Felipe II, y tuvieron ilustre sucesión. La segunda efectuó enlace, en Azcoitia, con Francisco de Idiáquez. Juana de R. e Idiáquez, que casó en 1538 con Beltrán Ibáñez de Oñaz y Loyola, Señor de la casa solar de Loyola. Con sucesión.
