Odet, abbé de Redon en 1474, mort en 1492; quatre chevaliers de l'ordre de puis 1570; un page du Roi en 1678; cinq gouverneurs de Saint-Brieud depuis 1667, le dernier, lieutenant général en 1745, mort en 1781; deux chevaliers de Malte en 1704 et 1730. La branche aînée fondue dans Coëtrieux; la branche de Saint-Quiouët fondue en 1754 dans la Fayette. On trouve Hervé, croisé en 1248 (Chartes latines de 1191 à 1249 relatives aux croisés, provenant du cabinet Courtois); mais nous ne savons à laquelle des familles la Rivière il appartenait. ...
