Sur le testament, en date du 3 janvier 1783, de Girard-Raymond Robert, noble citoyen de la ville de Périgueux, les armes sont: D'argent au chevron de gueules, accompagné en chef de trois étoiles - ou molettes - et en pointe d'une pièce qui paraît être une plante feuillée. Timbre comtal. Un Robert ou Roubert de la Céparie fut tué dans cette lutte mémorable que les habitants de Périgueux, en 1653, soutinrent victorieusement contre l'armée de la Fronde. Jean Roubert, seigneur de la Céparie, était maire de la ville en 1559 et 1560. Il est à présumer que ce fut sa fille qui, le 10 janvier 1560, épousa Jean de Chalup, écuyer, avocat au parlement de Bordeaux. Le chevalier du Cluzel de Remorin, auteur de la généalogie de Chalup, dit en effet que noble damoiselle Jeanne de Roubert était fille de messire Jean Roubert, écuyer, seigneur de la Céparie, élu pour le Roi en Périgord, et de Dlle Marguerite de la Borde. Sur le testament de Jean Roubert, procureur (17 juin 1748), on voit: De ... à une fleur de lys, accompagnée de 2 étoiles au-dessous. ...
