Noblesse possessionnée à St-Privat-d'Allier qui compte parmi ses membres les seigneurs de Pouzols près St-Just de Chomelix (Auvergne). Nobles Claude et Antoine Rodilhon étaient seigneurs de Pouzols en 1508 et 1512. Antoinette de Montgeorge devint coadjutrice et peut être abbesse du monastère de Ste-Claire de Clermont en 1548. La difficulté de retrouver l'origine de cette famille, pour établir une filiation vraie et reconnaître les personnages qui appartiennent à cette même maison il faut nous dire que les nobles étaient anciennement en possession de changer de nom sans la permission du prince, parce qu'en ce temps cette mutation ne fasait pas présumer qu'ils changeait d'état. Quelques-uns prenaient le nom de leur mère ou celui de leur femme.
