Cette famille possède des lettres patentes en forme de chartes, données à Versailles en août 1700, par lesquelles Louis XIV confirme dans sa noblesse Pierre, seigneur d'Aysse, l'anoblit de nouveau en tant que besoin, avec ses enfants mâles et femelles nés et à naìtre, et lui permet de continuer à porter les armes que ceux de sa famille ont portées de tous temps. Ces armes, ici blasonnées, telles qu'elles se voient sur lesdites patentes, sont enregistrées de même dans le Grand Armorial de France (registre de Périgueux), le 19 août 1700. Dans les jugements des intendants de Bordeaux portant maintenue de noblesse (période de 1697 à 1718), se trouve le nom de la famille; il figure également dans lles listes de votants, à Périgueux, pour les députés de la Noblesse aux États-Généraux de 1789; il y est ainsi inscrit: Messire Pierre, écuyer, seigneur de Pierrefiche, y habitant dans son repaire, paroisse de Thiviers. Dans le Bulletin de la Societé historique et archéologique du Périgord, tome V, il est fait mantion d'un Périgourdin du nom de Bordier qui, en qualité d'officier, fit partie de la suite de Jean, baron de Salignac, nommé, en 1604, par le roi Henry IV, ambassadeur à Constantinopole, et qu'en outre, comme chroniquer, fit l'historiaue (en 1500 pages in-folio pleines d'intérêt) des événaments qui, jusqu'en 1610, marquèrent cette importante ambassade. ...
