Con atto 25 settembre 1734, rogito Bologna (Assenso 20 maggio 1735) acquistò dal conte Ignazio Maria Claretti il feudo di Lieucia (Nizza), feudo che fu eretto in contea il 26 giugno 1734, e del quale fu investito il 23 marzo 1735. Figlio di Pietro Giuseppe fu Pietro Michele Angelo, che fu investito di Lieucia il 21 ottobre 1775. Passò in seguito questa famiglia in Francia. Un pronipote del conte Pietro Giuseppe, l'ufficiale d'artiglieria Pietro Enrico, ottenne Regio Decreto di concessione del titolo di conte di Lieucia il 18 dicembre 1859.
