Nobility crown SardenetaProcede este apellido de Guipúzcoa. Tuvo su casa solar en la anteiglesia de Arenaza, del Valle Real de Léniz y partido judicial de Vergara. Según la declaración de un testigo en un expediente de hidalguía que se conserva en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid, dicha casa solar estaba sita "al pie de una sierra grande y su fundamento es de cantería y fuerte y antigua y poca cosa es de tabla". Aunque no ostentaba escudo esculpido en su portada, otro testigo afirma en el mismo expediente que "los Señores della y sus descendientes tenían y pintaban por sus armas trece estrellas y un ciervo en unas mieses". Sus datos genealógicos más antiguos alcanzan a mediados del siglo XV y comienzan con Juan Pérez de S., Señor de la casa solar de su apellido en la anteiglesia de Arenaza y Valle deLéniz, que casó con doña María Pérez, y procrearon a Pedro Pérez de S., que sucedió en la casa y contrajo matrimonio con doña Gomaza o Domeca, naciendo de esta unión Juan Pérez de S., que sucedió en la casa, Domingo, Pedro, Baltasar y San Juan de S. El último, San Juan de S., hizo probanza de su hidalguía "ad perpetuam rei memoriam" en 1559. En su mujer, doña Juana de Mendoza, tuvo este hijo: Francisco de S. y Mendoza, vecino de Madrid y de Torrejón de Ardoz, donde trataron de negarle su hidalguía, dando motivo a un pleito que obtuvo tres sentencias favorables y carta ejecutoria el 5 de Septiembre de 1622, de la que sacaron varias copias en 1865 para otro pleito. ...
