Famiglia di Vicenza. Francesco Segala ebbe la cittadinanza vicentina il 30 dicembre 1543. Paolo, ebbe un posto in Consiglio il 2 gennaio 1582 per cessione di Teodoro Thiene. La famiglia appartenne al nobile Collegio dei Giudici e venne confermata nell'avita nobiltà con S.R. 7 marzo 1820 e fu ascritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale definitivo del Veneto del 19 settembre 1907.
