Nobility crown BordellaOriginari di Francia, furono di parte guelfa.Giotto venuto in Italia fabbricò presso Massa Lombarda in Romagna un nobile castello che chiamò Bordella. Rovinato circa dopo un secolo, Braccio innalzò un altra terra che volle nominare Bordana e di cui ebbe la signorile giurisdizione col titolo comitale datogli da Innocenzo VI. Galeotto ed Alberigo furono capitani del popolo di Firenze nel 1 406, e Baldassarre sostenne nel 1420 la dignità senatoria in Roma. Un Zetto fu investito dal pontefice Innocenzo IV della signoria del castello di Mordano nel territorio d'Imola; e tale contea fu rinnovata in Zelotto di Zetto e Francesco di Bartolomeo, dal cardinale Baldassarre Cossa legato pontificio di Bologna, nell'anno 1404. Zelotto di Zetto fu capitano del popolo di Firenze nel 1392 e nel 1406 e verso quest'epoca la famiglia venne a stabilirsi a Firenze in persona del canonico Tommaso di Petruccio e suoi nipoti.
