Nobility crown SparisiNobilissimo ed illustre casato italiano, di origine francese, il cui capostipite, al dir del Villabianca, andrebbe individuato in quel Gualtiero, governatore di Parigi prima dell'anno 1000. Al seguito di Roberto il Guiscardo, nel 998, la famiglia giunse in Italia meridionale, stabilendosi, primieramente, in Cosenza ed in Reggio Calabria. A metà del XV secolo con Nicolantonio, figlio di Ruggero I, Barone della Castelluccia e della Pietra di Monte Corvino, il casato ereditò beni a Moliterno e ivi si stabilì entro la prima metà del XVI secolo, a seguito del compromesso stipulato a Napoli nel 1531, tra Angiolo I Parisi (figlio di Nicolantonio) ed il cugino Francesco (figlio di Ruggero II), entrambi nipoti del Barone Ruggero I, che divise i beni di Moliterno da quelli di Cosenza, rispettivamente assegnati a Angiolo I e a Francesco.
