Famiglia di Borgo Val di Taro, detta anticamente Stradella. Alessio Stradella, insigne teologo, vicario generale degli Eremitani di S. Agostino in Genova, fu elevato alla dignità di vescovo di Nepi e Sutri il 28 luglio 1575. Morì nel 1580. Angelo, con decreto di Maria Luigia, duchessa di Parma, in data 17 agosto 1845, fu creato conte coi discendenti maschi ed ebbe riconosciuto lo stemma adottato ed usato dalla famiglia. Il detto Angelo sposò la nobile Angela Bertucci, da cui nacque Francesco nel 1817, il quale sposò Marianna Douglas Scotti da Vigoleno. La presenza dell'arma e del motto nella bibliografia documentata della famiglia Stradella, inoltre, ci conferma l'avita nobiltà raggiunta dalla casata.
