Nobility crown SuchelCette famille est originaire de Largentière. Elle vint se fixer à Lyon où est né le Maréchal duc d'Albuféra. Nous devons à l'amaible communication de M. A. d'Avaize et de M. Auguste Le Sourd les notes généalogiques qui suivent. I. Antoine Suchet, bourgeois de Largentière, vivant en 1600, fut père de Guinot, Antoine et Guillaume, qui suit. Guinot, né en 1603, épousa Françoise de Jossouin et leur postérité s'éteignit à la seconde génération. La descendance d'Antoine s'éteignit à la troisième génération, avec les enfants de Jean-André Suchet, sieur de Saint-Foy, et de Marie-Thérèse de Maty d'Aulneyres. II. Guillaume Suchet eut d'Antoine Tuech: III. Jean Suchet, né en 1652, marié en 1682, à Anne Deroudilhe dont: IV. Jean II Suchet, marié à Marie Boyer, fille d'Etienne Boyer, notaire à Lanas et de Marie Boyron. Il en eut: 1° Etienne qui suit, et 2° Jean-Pierre. V. Etienne Suchet, marié en 1748 à MArie-Françoise Champanhet, de Vals, dont 1° Louis, marié à Mademoiselle Granier de Lyon, d'où postérité; 2° Jean-Joseph, maire de Largentière, marié à Mademoiselle des Aifres, de Barjac; 3° Marie, alliée à M. Gunon, de Largentière, et 4° Magdeleine, mariée à J.-B. Espic, notaire à Aubenas. Etienne Suchet, pensionnaire du Roi, demeurant à Largentière, marié à Françoise Champanhet, eut un autre fils: Jean-Christophe négociant à Lyon, qui épousa à Saint-Nizier, le 30 septembre 1787, Anne Marie Granier, fille de noble Etienne Granier et de Françoise Thevenet. Jean-Pierre Suchet, négociant à Lyon, notaire de la Charité (1779), juge conservateur 1788, avait épousé Marie-Anne Jacquier, dont: !° Gabriel-Catherine Suchet, marié à Adélaide arnaud-Tison, de Lyon, dont postérité; 2° Louis-Gabriel. ...
