Cette famille paraît être originaire des environs de la Motte de Galaure en Dauphiné, car nous voyons que ses auteurs eurent leur sépulture en l'église de ladite paroisse. Noble Aymon fut père de Philippe qui vivait au milieu du XVème siècle; celui-ci épousa demoiselle Claude du Solier et fut père de 4 fils: Humbert, chevalier, testa le 7 août 1501; Jacques qui fut oratorien; Pierre et Guillaume qui épousa, le 24 octobre 1469, demoiselle Anne de La Rigordière en Vivarais; et peu plus tard en secondes noces Alix de Mas-Bovier; laquelle lui apporta en dot la maison forte de Bilhe en la paroisse de Quintenas et mandement d'Ay, et parti du fief qui en dépendait, dont le 25 janvier 1492, Guillaume acheta le reste à ses beaux frères François et Pierre de Bilhe. Et testa en 1515 et mourut à Bilhe avant le 29 novembre 1516, que sa veuve testa à son tour. D'eux nacquirent: 1° Gabriel, chevalier, seigneur de Bilhe, mort sans posterité à Bagnols où il s'était fixé. 2° Pierre; Jean; Cécile; Catherine et Antoinette. Noble Pierre, écuyer, mourut en 1525 à la bataille de Pavie étant archers de la garde du roi; de Anne du Ranc il laissait un fils, Tristan, qui mourut peu après, par où il arriva que la terre de Bilhe passa à la soeur de Pierre, Catherine, femme de noble Etienne de Trémolet. ...
