Nobility crown TrilloEl Licenciado Mosquera, en su obra "La Numantina", muy estimada por los interesantes datos que contiene de diversas familias y antiguos acaecimientos de España, trata de este linaje con valiosas noticias. Procede este linaje de la ilustre estirpe de los Álvarez de las Asturias, Señores que de Gijón, Navia y Noreña, y fueron sus progenitores: Alonso de Asturias y su mujer doña Gonia, que tuvieron por uno de sus hijos a Fernando Ruiz T., primero que usó este apellido padre de Lope Fernández T., llamado "el Calvo", que vivió en Asturias en el Concejo de Salas, y fué General del Rey don Sancho II por lo años de 1070, y no de don Sancho IV "el Bravo", como algún autor escribe. Casó con doña Urraca Flórez, y procrearon a Fernán López T., que sigue, y Urraca Flórez, mujer de Fernán Sánchez de Estrada, de quienes descienden la familia de Estrada, en Asturias, y la de Aguila, en Avila. Fernán López T. fué poblador y primer Alcaide de los Alcázares de Avila, reinando don Alfonso VI. De este Fernán procede la rama de T. en Avila. Casó con doña Ximena Blázquez y tuvieron estos hijos: Fernán López T. "el Mozo", que sigue, y Lope Fernández T., con abundante descendencia por hembra. Fernán López T. "el Mozo" casó en Valladolid con doña Boña de Boña y Ansúrez, sobrina del Conde Pedro Ansúrez, y de ese enlace nació Sancho López T., que sirvió a don Fernando II de León y casó en Ávila con doña Marina Sánchez de Abrojo, padres de Pedro López T. ...
