Nobility crown Turenne DExcellente noblesse du Limousin qui a pour premier auteur connu: Hector, seigneur d'Aynac, St-Hilaire, Vergy, etc. par donation de son père de 5 juillet 1399, fils naturel de Raymond Louis Rogiers, comte de Beaufort et d'Alays, vicomte de Turenne, etc. vivant en 1433 et 1458. Sa descendance, qui s'est illustrée par de très beaux services militaires et des alliances des plus distinguées, s'est divisée en plusieurs branches: à une première branche se rattachaient: le marquis d'Aynac et de Montmurat, barons de Felzins et de Gramat, qui ont produit: deux chanoines-comtes du noble chapitre de Brioude (1478-1546); des chanoines de Rodez; des hommes d'armes; des gentilshommes de la chambre du roi; des chevaliers de son ordre; des commissaires de l'artillerie, commandeurs de places; des diplomates; des officiers supérieurs; des chevaliers de St-Jean de Jérusalem, l'un d'eux au siège de Rhodes (1522); un maréchal de camp; un chambellan de Napoléon, grand officier de la Légion d'honneur; un pair de France. A une deuxième branche se rattachaient: les barons de Durfort et de Soursac, possessionés en Auvergne, éteints au XVIème siècle dans les de la Majorie qui devirent barons de Soursac. A une troisième branche se rattachaient: les comtes et marquis d'Aubepeyre, établis en Rouergue, divisés en plusieurs rameaux, l'un d'eux possessionné de nos jours près d'Yssingeaux, à la suite d'alliance avec les de Luzy, et qui ont donné: de nombreux officiers; plusieurs colonels; des chevaliers de Malte. ...
