De Cataluña y de Valencia. Una casa radicó en Barcelona, cuyos miembros fueron Ciudadanos Honrados de Barcelona y señores de la torre de V. (hoy llamada "El Laberinto", que ha pertenecido a los marqueses de Alfarrás), situada en la parroquia de San Joan d'Horta. Jaime de V., ciudadano de Barcelona, fue armado caballero en la coronación del rey Martín I, en Zaragoza, el 6 de abril de 1399. Pedro de V., obtuvo privilegio de Caballero del principado de Cataluña, dado por don Juan de Aragón, en Barcelona, el 2 de julio de 1506. El doctor Francisco de V. y su hermano Bernardo de V., fueron matriculados como ciudadanos honrados de Barcelona, el 1 de mayo de 1511. A la casa de Horta pertenecía Miguel de V. y de Alemany, Burgués Honrado de Perpiñán, señor de la torre de V., que casó por primera vez en 1527 con Isabel de Soler, y tuvieron por hija y heredera a Isabel de V. y de Soler, que llevó la herencia a los Roger, por su matrimonio, en 1548, con Miguel-Juan de Roger y de Vilana. Otra línea de esta casa recayó en los Salbá por el matrimonio de Isabel de V. con Pedro de Salbá y Escarit. Miembro destacado de este linaje fue el célebre jurisconsulto y consejero de Pedro III, Guillermo de V., Ciudadano Honrado de Barcelona y uno de los compromisarios de Caspe en la tarea de elegir rey. Una línea de los V. catalanes pasó a la conquista de Valencia con Guillermo de V. que llegó allí desde Tarragona, con una nave y obtuvo del rey feudos en Mirarosa. ...
