Radicó esta casa en el lugar de Lerones, que hoy pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Pesaguero y partido judicial de Potes (Santander), y de ella descendió Juan G. de Villa, que vivió a principios del siglo XVII. Estuvo casado con doña Petronila Lixar, a la que hizo madre de Francisco G. de Villa y Lixar nacido en Lerones el 14 de Octubre de 1657. Contrajo matrimonio con doña María Sanchéz de Agueros, fallecida en Lerones el 12 de Noviembre de 1734, después de otorgar testamento ante el Escribano del mismo lugar a José Alonso Camaleño. Su esposo, Francisco G. de Villa, falleció también en Lerones, el 3 de Junio de 1710, y otorgó su testamento ante el Escribano Alonso de San Juan. Tuvo dicho matrimonio estos hijos Tomás G. de Villa y Sánchez de Aguero, que sigue; Juan G. de Villa y Sánchez de Agueros; Toribio G. de Villa y Sánchez de Agueros, presbítero y Angela G. de Villa y Sánchez de Agueros. Tomás G. de Villa y Sánchez de Agueros, nació en Lerones el 7 de Marzo de 1701 y fué bautizado en la iglesia parroquial, el 24 del mismo mes, siendo apadrinado por su abuelo paterno Juan G. de Villa. Estuvo empadronado como hijodalgo entre los nobles de Lerones, en 1774. Falleció el 16 de Diciembre de 1775, después de testar ante Francisco Ximénez, vecino y Escribano de Piasca, el 28 de Noviembre del mismo año. Se unió en matrimonio en Lerones, el 11 de Septiembre de 1729, con doña Francisca Gutiérrez y Martínez de Cossio (hija de Baltasar Gutiérrez y de su mujer doña Manuela de Cossio). ...
