Nel 1420 un Niccolò, in ricompensa dei servizi resi durante l'assedio del castello di Monteleone, ebbe in allodio il salto di Ruda che però poco dopo vendette ai De Ferraira: nel 1422 divenne sostituto procuratore reale del Logudoro. Suo figlio Francesco, nel 1436, ottenne in feudo la gabella del sale e le saline del Fangario, con facoltà amplissime su tutto il commercio del sale ad Alghero. Dal 1573, con il parlamento Coloma, furono ammessi allo stamento militare. Nel 1620 Giuliano, reggente la tesoreria reale della Sardegna, ottenne il riconoscimento della nobiltà. Suo figlio Francesco, capitano della guardia del viceré, si trasferì a Cagliari dove, sposata una Brondo, fissò la residenza della famiglia. I figli di Francesco ricoprirono uffici di una certa importanza e vissero tra Vagliari ed Alghero. ...
