I maggiori seguirono la carriera delle armi al servizio della repubblica veneta e si segnalarono anche nelle lettere, nella magistratura, nella poesia e nelle scienze. Va notato nel sec. XVI il celebre Luigi, detto il cieco di Adria. Luca Antonio, di Luigi ebbe la conferma della nobiltà con Sovrana Risoluzione Austriaca 29 marzo 1823. Nessuno di questa famiglia, che non risulta estinta, si fece iscrivere nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare. Altro ramo. Questa famiglia ha comune l'origine ed il titolo con la omonima veneziana. Fino dall'anno 1487 si trova pure iscritta al nobile consiglio di Rovigo. Giuseppe, Giannandrea e Carolina, di Carlo, ottennero la conferma della nobiltà con Sovrana Risoluzione Austriaca 4 agosto 1820.
