Atarbe, natural de Lemona, que contrajo matrimonio con doña María de Arteta, natural del barrio de Galdácano, también del partido judicial de Durango, en Vizcaya (hija de Martín de Arteta y de su mujer doña Marina Ibarrechebea, ambos naturales de Galdácano), naciendo de esa unión Juan de A. y Arteta, que sigue; y Francisco de A. Arteta, natural de Lemona y caballero de Santiago, en cuya Orden ingresó el 6 de Octubre de 1740. Pasó a Buenos Aires conduciendo las tropas de Su Majestad en los navíos de Registro.
