Antica ed assai nobile famiglia del Regno di Napoli, conosciuta come Andreazzi o Andreassi, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia e del Mondo. Originaria della Calabria, più precisamente di Oriolo (CS), tal famiglia si è distinta nella magistratura sin dal secolo decimosettimo. In data 10 agosto 1724, essa è stata insignita del titolo di duca di Montemurro mentre in data 6 ottobre 1752 ha ricevuto il titolo marchionale sul cognome. Nel 1795 la casata è stata anche aggregata al patriziato beneventano; già dal 1695 era invece aggregata a quello di Lucera. Con decreto ministeriale del 20 luglio 1913, la famiglia è stata registrata negli elenchi ufficiali con i titoli di Marchese (mpr.) e di Nobile dei Marchesi Andreassi (m.f.).
